Files are then transferred to a computer, or any other compatible display device, via a USB connection. Being a high definition camcorder, the Everio GZ-HD500 offers more recording options than standard definition capture device and is capable of much higher quality resolutions resulting in sharper, clearer video. Additionally, the camcorder utilizes a CMOS Sensor in order to still function in environments with little light, an Image Stabilizer for steadier, smoother video quality, and a Face Detection System for automatic focus and optimization when certain people are in front of the camcorder.
