JBL CS400 Satellite
$200.00
Released January, 2010
The Pros:Attractive design, looks like a sculpture or work of art. Small and unobtrusive, can be tucked out of the way if you want to. Included wall mounting brackets are easy to install and work with.
The Cons:Don't have a lot of power by themselves, best used as part of a larger 5.1 or 7.1 system. No real support for the bass range at all, drops off dramatically.
The JBL CS400 Satellite consists of two high-performance satellite speakers designed to function either by themselves or alongside a 7-channel or higher at-home theater system. Featured on each stand or wall-mountable satellite is a 3-/2” high-power driver in combination with a high-frequency, 1” titanium-laminate tweeter.

Together they can handle 100W of power across a somewhat narrow 110Hz-20kHz frequency range. Note also that each speaker is magnetically video shielded so they can be placed right next to a television or computer screen monitor.
