Jamis Dakota dXC Team (2011)

The Jamis Dakota dXC Team (2011) is a top-of-the-line hardtail mountain bike that improves upon the Jamis Dakota dXC Pro (2011). The primary similarity between the Team and Pro Dakota dXC models is its race-oriented geometry (along with its hardtail, 26" design).

Otherwise, the Dakota dXC Team sports entirely different components, including a full premium high modulus carbon fiber frame, a 1-1/8" – 1.5" tapered head tube and Avid XX hydraulic disc brakes with Matchmaker clamp and 160mm rotors.

The Dakota dXC Team's full premium high modulus carbon fiber frame provides superior stiffness, impact resistance and durability as compared to most other frame materials with less weight than other carbon composite frames. Its 1-1/8" – 1.5" tapered head tube allows the Dakota dXC Team to offer better steering control, even on tougher trails. Meanwhile, the Dakota dXC Team's Avid XX hydraulic disc brakes ensure efficient, consistent stopping power in any condition.
