Jamis' Dakar XCR Team 2011 model is the flagship cross-country racing model that Jamis offers. With essentially similar geometry and intended XC race purposes as the other Dakar XCR models, this one has upgraded high modulus carbon materials comprising the entire frame.

Also, its Ritchey seatpost and handlebars are carbon fiber. The other main upgrades over the step-down XCR Pro are a Rock Shox SID World Cup 100mm travel front fork, and a full drivetrain and brake upgrade to Shimano XTR. American Classic tubeless disc rims, AC hubs and spokes, and Geax Mezcal tires complete the wheelset. This bike has a very high price point and is intended for serious cross country racing riders. It weighs only 23.25 pounds, lower than the other Dakar models and low by any mountain bike standard.
