The Pros:Simulation mechanics are well rendered, has a realistic feel. Intense fighting is exciting and gratifying. Gorgeous visuals, with detailed landscape and cockpit.
The Cons:Frame rate varies, frequently stutters. RAF campaign is messy and poorly organized. Lots of little bugs and glitches throughout the game.
IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover is a combat flight simulator based in 1940 Britain. The plot involves fighting off German and Italian air forces trying to invade Britain. Players man a British RAF combat plane and subsequently fly through London, southern/northern England, northern France, and southern Belgium.

Featured are over 25 aircrafts, extremely detailed environments, and enhanced realism—so much so that every aircraft component can suffer damage. Note that there are singleplayer missions as well as massive multiplayer campaigns in which up to 128 players can simultaneously battle either in teams or in a freestyle shoot em up deathmatch.
