The Pros:Smaller design than the majority of over-sized phones on the market - much easier to pocket. 3.2" display with improved resolution over the original Wildfire (240 x 320px to 320 x 480px). 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
The Cons:Slower than average 600MHz processor, slows the interface compared to top-of-the-line offerings. Incapable of shooting quality video - poor frame rate and non-HD resolution. Not worth buying over a top-of-the-line offering for not much more down.
The HTC Wildfire S represents the low end of the HTC smartphone range. It is similar to the HTC Desire S, but smaller, without a large built-in internal storage, and no separate front camera for video conferencing.

The 3.2 inch touchscreen uses a 320x480 resolution, and the main processor runs at 600Mhz. In other ways they are similar, including having slots for a microSD memory card, 3.5mm stereo audio jack, and a standard microUSB port. The phone ships with Android 2.4 (Gingerbread), and works with a G-Sensor, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. An internal GPS antenna and compass work with Google Maps for direction finding. Wireless connections are supported through standard WiFi, Bluetooth, and A2DP protocols as well as 3G networks.

#htc_wildfire_s By far the worst smart phone I've ever owned or have ever even seen. My Verizon Droid (original) is better than this phone even though there is currently a Droid 3 out on the market. Slow. Cannot support games or apps other than the basics (Facebook, a flashlight, Pandora, Shazam). I would never recommend this phone to my worst enemy.
