HTC Salsa

Released May, 2011

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Simply put; If you love using Facebook you will love this phone. Dedicated Facebook button and a ton of Facebook integration (Facebook events automatically show up in calendar). Runs the latest version of the popular, open source Android operating system (2.3.3 Gingerbread).

The Cons:If you don't have Facebook or care about Facebook on your phone this is not for you. Multicolored back of the phone may not be for everyone- Looks like a checkerboard. Not capable of recording video in high definition.

The HTC Salsa is a smartphone designed for social networking. This is similar in specification to the HTC Chacha, but has a larger 3.4 inch touchscreen to replace the QWERTY keyboard. They are otherwise the same, including the dedicated Facebook button that allows for quick posting of whatever is being done with the phone to the social network.
