The Evo 4G is a Smartphone from HTC and is one of the first of its kind to be able to connect to Sprint's 4G network. The phone runs on the Android 2.1 operating system using a Qualcomm 1-GHz processor.

For storage the phone has 1-GB of ROM, 576-MB of RAM and an 8-GB microSD memory card. It has no keyboard, but is controlled using the 4.3-inch multi-touch screen. The phone has two cameras. The one on the back has a flash and can take 8 megapixel still images and 720p videos. There is also a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front presumably for use as a webcam for live video chats. Unlike many Smartphones, the Evo 4G has a built-in stand so that the user can watch videos hands-free. It also has a mini HDMI output for watching captured, downloaded or streaming video on a full-sized high-definition screen. The Evo 4G boasts many other modern "bells and whistles" including GPS, digital compass, 3D maps, G-sensor, light sensor, proximity sensor and an FM radio.
