The Cons:Heavy, starting at 4.7 lb. Touchpad/pointstick buttons don't always actuate - somewhat dependent on angle, feel a little wobbly. DisplayPort - HDMI output would have been better and more compatible.
The HP EliteBook 8440p is a laptop that's very durable and has a few advanced features and options meant for business professionals. With an Intel Core i7 processor, it has up to 4GB of memory (user-upgradeable to 8GB) and up to 500GB HDD space or up to 256GB SDD space it is ideal for multimedia designers, extensive projects and presentations and for those who also have large music and movie collections.

Along with a DVD-ROM it's also capable of playing Blu-Ray video and has a 14.0-inch diagonal LED-backlit HD anti-glare display that's bright and attractive. With several different customizable options, the laptop has a 2 megapixel webcam and up to 6.5h of battery life.
