Head YouTek Prestige Pro

$225.00 Released January, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Generates lots of power with little effort. Great for creating spin, ideal for players who focus on spinning. Large sweet-spot, easy to hit with.

The Cons:Hard to handle unless you have developed a confident swing. Open string pattern puts a lot of pressure on the strings, breaks them easily. Protective covering on the grip can sometimes become fused with it, peeling off parts of the grip when removed.

The Head YouTek Prestige Pro is a high end tennis racquet aimed at tennis enthusiasts. It has most of the same features and design elements as the Head YouTek Prestige MP, but with a leather grip for superior handling.

The weight is 5g heavier, which moves the balance out another 5m.  This is still lighter than the Head YouTek Prestige Mid , and it maintains the same large head size as the MP.

The Head YouTek Prestige line uses d3o technology, a responsive foam that stiffens on high impacts to increase power. It remains flexible on slow-speed impacts allowing for drop shots. This racquet has a 21 mm beam, a 98 sq in head, and a 315 mm balance. Grip sizes run from 1-5, and the length is a standard 27 in.
