Head YouTek IG Extreme Pro
$190.00
Released January, 2011
The Pros:Comfortable and effective when shooting from the baseline. Capable of generating a high degree of spin. Not cumbersome, despite its heavy frame.
The Cons:Not particularly comfortable or maneuverable at the net. Response is somewhat dampened due to its neck stiffness.
The Head YouTek IG Extreme Pro is a tennis racket built to be heavy and stiff for strong power return, but with a slightly head-light balance to maintain strong control. This resembles the Head YouTek IG Extreme MP, but the weight has been increased to 11.1 ounces to enable more powerful hits.

The balance remains almost the same, however, at 1 1/3 inches head-light, enabling players to move the racket where it needs to be more easily. Combined with the large head size of 100 square inches and a 16/19 string pattern, this enables players to put a lot of spin on the ball easily. Both rackets use Innegra technology which reduces vibration by 17% and makes the racket more stable.
