Halo: Reach
$60.00
Released September, 2010
The Pros:Able to stand on its own for those who haven't played the other Halo games. Great soundtrack. Stunning graphics.
The Cons:People that don't install the game to the hard drive slow down the loading in multiplayer for everyone. Shallow characters - Noble 6 has zero personality, other members of the Noble team are cliche. Credits earned aren't very useful - for aesthetic bling and braging rights only.
Released on September 14th 2010, Halo: Reach is the 4th and final Halo game from Bungie, the original creators of the popular series. Taking place before the events of the Halo trilogy, Halo: Reach puts you in the boots of a new protagonist - the rookie Noble 6 - as part of an elite team, outing the iconic Master Chief.

#halo_reach Last night I finally got around to playing the firefight mode... all I can say is WOW. I was having a hell of a lot of fun. I don't know how long I'm going to have this same amount of fun with the mode, but for now it's absolutely awesome. I think one of the great things about the mode is that it actually feels like I'm playing with a team - much more so than standard team-based multiplayer games. There's also a nice amount of variation with Sniper firefight and Rocket firefight. It's not a big deal when somebody leaves the game early. Just all around a great time.

#halo_reach After playing this game for a few days now it can be easily summarized as: If you like and want more Halo then Reach is right up your alley. If you've never liked Halo, or are tired of it, then Reach probably won't change your mind.
I find myself a decent Halo fan, and the game is mucho fun. I don't think I'll be putting as much time into it as other games like Starcraft 2, or Street Fighter 4, but it's a good game to have around and bust out every once in a while. I still haven't really gotten into the Firefight modes though, so maybe that'll change my mind and I'll find more fun there.
For now, it's definitely worth the money, but it's not a rousing success that I can recommend to everyone.
