GoLite Sun Dragon

$95.00 Released January, 2007

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Good stability on steep terrain. Very lightweight.

The Cons:Sole wears down quickly.

The GoLite Sun Dragon is a running shoe specifically designed for trail running. GoLite's main focus is stability on trails. They achieve this by a unique footbed and outsole system with the philosophy that if you "put the soft against the ground" - meaning the softest part of the shoe is the outer sole versus the typical cushioning found in the footbed - you can achieve greater stability by isolating the energy at the ground instead of your foot or ankle absorbing all of it.

Product Shot 2

The lightweight nature of the GoLite Sun Dragon appeals to many trail runners as they don't have to carry the bulk found in many trail-specific shoes, at 11.8 ounces, they are the lightest of the GoLite line. However, for people that are interested in longer hikes, these shoes may not be ideal as the teeth get worn down.
