God of War III

$60.00 Released March, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Many well known lesser gods and mythical beasts to slaughter - not just the same old made up baddies. Main 4 weapons can be switched to mid-combo - a new addition to the combat system. Amazing graphics.

The Cons:Every enemy has one death sequence - would have been nicer to see a bit of variation. Not much innovation over the previous two titles. Action can get too crazy and epic making it difficult to see what's actually going on.

God of War III is an action-adventure video game from developer Sony Santa Monica and the critically-acclaimed sequel to God of War II. Released in March 2010 exclusively for the Playstation 3, the game is the final chapter in the mythological revenge saga of Kratos, a former Spartan warrior.

The combat mechanics, puzzles, and general gameplay design resemble those of previous God of War titles, but the power of the PS3 enables major graphical advances. Many reviews praise the game's visual detail and cinematic quality, which add to the realism of the trilogy's characteristically brutal, bloody violence. God of War III also surpasses its predecessors in the scale of bosses, other enemies, environments, and combat.

Omar: #god_of_war_iii Just started playing this game and the graphics are seriously ridiculous. I'm easily impressed by good graphics, and so this game is a major visual treat. The art direction, hollywood-style camera work, crisp image quality, 60 frames per second all combine to be a beautiful game all around. It's honestly worth it just to appreciate the visuals.
