Graphics are provided by an Intel GMA 4500MHD, and are displayed on the laptop's 14-inch, 1366 x 768 resolution TFT LED screen. A flexibay doubles its use as a fully functional optical disk drive, and can be swapped out so the space can be used to house a second battery for extended power needs. For security purposes, the M1405 features a Kensington lock standard to the entire M series, but further protects by offering an optional fingerprint reader logon mode.
