The Pros:One of the few motherboards to offer USB 3.0 support at the moment. General layout of the motherboard is well laid out, easy to work with. Compatible with a wide array of components, very few incompatibilities.
The Cons:Frequent quality issues reported, arrives with reduced functionality of some kind. Tends to run hot, need to ensure very good cooling system is used. Incapable of SLI/Crossfire setup, just the one high-speed slot.
The GA-EP43T-USB3 is a desktop computer motherboard from Gigabyte that offers a step-up from the company's GA-EP43T-UD3L model. Featuring USB 3.0 connectivity for data transfer rates up to 5 gigabytes-per-second, this model features increased bus power through "3x Power Boost" technology.

WHQL qualification enables full integration of all Windows' 7 series operating systems, with "Ultra Durable 3" copper-cooling construction reducing heat levels in critical areas of the unit for maximum performance. DDR3 1600+ memory modules can be installed for up to 16 gigabytes of working memory, providing latency free playback of high-definiton movies and video games. Gigabyte's EasyTune 6 management software enables users to achieve maximum system performance through a wide variety of customizable settings, with one-click overclocking available for optimal bandwidth settings. Intel has also included its "High Definition Audio" system for 8-channel support of high-definition audio, with simultaneous separate streaming available for multi-room content support. On/off charging allows users to charge Mp3 players, cellular phones and other bus-powered USB devices even the device is powered down, with more power available when the central unit is in standby mode. The GA-EP43T-USB3 also features DualBIOS patented dual-hardware protection for physical mirroring and file recovery in the case of system crash, failure or other unforeseen issue.
