The Gigabyte GA-880GM-USB3 is a motherboard using the Micro ATX form factor that supports AMD AM3 format processors. This is an expansion of the Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H, with added support for USB 3.0 standards and an additional FireWire port.

Otherwise they are the same, with on-board video support through the North Bridge and high definition on-board audio support. Up to 16 GB of DDR3 memory can be used with this motherboard, although access speeds are limited to 1800 MHz with overclocking. A PCI-E x16 slot is available to enable the use of a video card to take load off of the main CPU and system memory, and 5 SATA connections are available to enable multiple RAID configurations.
