The NV79C47u is built with the familiar Wave Pattern case exterior however it is adorned with a "Silk Silver" body finish instead of the usual "Velvet Blue" which is accustomed to the other NV79 series models. The Gateway NV79C47u model is centered around the Intel Core i5-450M 2.4GHz processor and 4GB DDR3 1066MHz installed RAM. The NV79C7u features a 17.3" HD widescreen LCD display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a maximum supported resolution of 1600x900.
It is worth noting that the Gateway NV79C47u model laptop includes an actual graphics chipset instead of the familiar Intel HD Graphics card in former NV79 series models.
