Product Shot 1 The Pros:Trackpad is responsive and precise, easy to work with. Number pad is a standard size and makes it easy to work with spreadsheets. Nice response on the keys themselves, feels comfortable.

The Cons:Takes a little time to get used to the keyboard layout, main keyboard area is a bit compressed. Direction buttons are very small and awkward to work with.

A step up from the other, dual-core-equipped models in the series, the NV53A34u utilizes the 2.1GHz, triple-core AMD Phenom II N830. An ATI Radeon HD 5650 graphics chip with 1GB of dedicated memory works alongside 4GB of DDR3 RAM to enable solid performance with many mainstream games. Despite energy-saving LED backlighting, battery life is compromised for the higher-performance specs, reaching only 2.8 hours (vs. 3.7 for the NV53A33u and other models). An HDMI port allows HD video stored on the laptop's 320GB hard drive to be output to larger panels.
