Gateway M-153X

$1,100.00 Released August, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Solid configuration for the price, one of the cheapest notebooks on the market (2007/08) with a standard C2D processor and mid range dedicated graphics. The ATI HD2600 graphics card is far cooler running, and more reliable and the issue plagued 8600M GT card from Nvdia. Screen quality is good fro a budget notebook, with decent viewing angles and brightness.

The Cons:Only b/g wifi, Gateway skimmed out of wireless N which is disappointing for a 07/08 notebook. Poor customer support, non-toll free support number. The HD2600 uses a slower DDR2 vram as opposed to GDDR3, limits its potential.

Gateway M-153X can be found as a mid-line notebook with some powerful features. A 2.2 GHz CPU speed is produced by Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and the graphics card is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 Graphics.
