Voice prompts let the driver know where to turn and what street names are coming up, and notification is given about which lane they should be in for upcoming turns and exchanges. The system calculates routes taking into account past traffic patterns, and can predict routes based on the user's past navigation behavior. Routes can be selected according to faster time, shorter distance, or the most fuel-efficient route. Road features such as highways or toll booths can also be avoided. The system enables users to download custom voices to the device as well.
