Product Shot 1 The Pros:Uses easy to find AA batteries - great for when you forget backups and need to get replacements right away. 18x wide angle zoom lens. Affordable price.

The Cons:Uses AA batteries as opposed to more capacious and rechargeable Lithium-ion battery packs. Not compatible with a large variety of SD cards. Image quality is lacking - blurry photos on all images when the zoom is engaged.

The FujiFilm FinePix S1800 is one of two advanced digital cameras (S1800, S2550HD) released in early 2010. It features a 12MP CCD sensor, an 18x wide-angle optical zoom lens, a large 3” high-contrast LCD, and an electronic viewfinder.

It’s not quite worthy of being labeled an SLR, but the S1800 does provide high-resolution images throughout the focal range, from 28mm wide-angle up to 504mm telephoto. It also supports 720p video capture and includes an NTSC/PAL output, although an optional FujiFilm HD Player (HDP-L1) can be purchased and then used to watch recorded content on an HDTV set.
