It’s not quite worthy of being labeled an SLR, but the S1800 does provide high-resolution images throughout the focal range, from 28mm wide-angle up to 504mm telephoto. It also supports 720p video capture and includes an NTSC/PAL output, although an optional FujiFilm HD Player (HDP-L1) can be purchased and then used to watch recorded content on an HDTV set.
Additional features include an Instant Zoom that immediately crops a long-distance photo; Automatic Face/Smile/Blink Detection, and Auto Picture Rotation.
