FujiFilm FinePix Real 3D W3

$500.00 Released August, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Large range of features packed into a small build profile. Battery life is excellent, lasts a long time. 3D effect can be really stunning and dramatic.

The Cons:Have to hold the camera slightly unnaturally to avoid getting your finger in the shot. Macro is poor, has a hard time focusing. Color rendering and sharpness are only mediocre, and don't reflect the high pricetag.

The FujiFilm FinePix Real 3D W3 is a stereoscopic compact camera designed to capture 3D video. It replaces the Real 3D W1 which was widely criticised for it's user interface and still picture quality. 12 months on FujiFilm released the W3 with a lower (but still high) price tag and a vastly improved user interface, but the W3 is but all means still aimed at a small enthusiast market.

The main feature of the W3 is teh ability to capture 3D movies and still pictures in high definition. It has a 10 mega pixel sensor and 3x optical zoom. The W3's dual lenses can also be used in standard still photos, providing the ability to shoot wide angle photos. With standard single lens cameras the user will have to take 2-3 pictures to form a wide angle shot, but with the W3's dual lenses, this can be done in a single shot (both lenses at the same time). Other features includes a 3.5'' LCD display, USB 2.0, HDMI, SD memory card, and 34MB internal memory.
