First Alert 7010B

The First Alert 7010B is a smoke alarm that is powered by the house's electrical system and a backup 9 volt battery. This unit has a photoelectric sensor which can detect smoldering fires before they burst into flame.

Connections with up to 12 other compatible smoke alarms and 6 other compatible devices is available as well through a 120-volt VAC system. Power connection to the house's electrical system is designed to be fast and easy, and a "chirp" alarm indicates when the 9 volt battery is getting low. Optipath 360 technology provides 360 degree access to the layer of air on the ceiling or wall that carries indicators of fire. A test button silences the alarm and enables a quick check to make sure the system is functional.
