Dunlop SP Sport Signature
$300.00
Released January, 2010
The Pros:Reacts to the smallest movement right away, great handling. Works through puddles easily, excellent resistance to hydroplaning. Resist treadwear adequately, will last a few years.
The Cons:Not a very comfortable ride, feel every little bump and vibration. Easy to spin them when accelerating from a stopped position.
The Dunlop SP Sport Signature is an all season tire made for luxury sport vehicles that uses Hydro-Paddle technology to move water through the tread patterns out and away from the contact surface. Full-depth grooves maintain water evacuation as the tread wears while beveled edges prevent irregular wear, and the Silica compound construction also provides grip on wet pavement.

A broad and solid outside shoulder rib keeps more tire area on the pavement for better handling, while straight sipes and solid center rib increase driver feedback and create a rigid surface for dry handling and performance. Internally the tire is reinforced by Dunlop's Jointless Band (JLB) spirally wrapped nylon/polyester, providing extra responsiveness at highway speeds and maintaining the shape of the tire as well, and, a Max Flange Shield (MFS) rubber guard extends beyond the rim and around the lower sidewall, protecting expensive alloys from damage caused by brushing against the curb.
