Product Shot 2 Also new in this model is Dolby Pro Logic IIz support, which offers an additional vertical dimension to the audio with the use of an optional external amplifier. 24-bit encoding of analog audio to digital formats is also now handled at 192kHz, as it continues to be for the rest of the series. The model that follows, the 7.1 channel Denon AVR-1712, expands the capabilities with a Component video output and RS-232 port for third party remotes. Common features between all three include 3D video format support through the HDMI v1.4a inputs, and full 3D pass-through to ensure an undistorted image.
