The Pros:Can play(playable) latest games, eg:- MW2, Dirt2. Nice design, got Firewire and reasonable price. Good price/performance ratio.
The Cons:It's hot at the palmrest, slow speaker, earphone jack at the front.
The Dell Vostro 1088 is one of three entry-level notebooks (Vostro 1014, 1015, and 1088) released in late 2009 for business professionals. It’s outfitted with an Intel Dual Core 2 or Celeron processor, up to 4GB of RAM, and a 320GB SATA HDD.

The 1088 is the only one of the three to sport a dedicated ATI Mobility Radeon graphics card, allowing it 512MB of additional RAM strictly for intensive graphics applications. Its screen is 14” and allows for a native resolution of 1366x768, which is enough to support 720p video output in its original format. Additional features include a card reader for media flexibility; a cam/mic combo set for online communications; and Gigabit LAN + 802.11b/g WiFi. Note also the FireWire port.
