Dell ST2220L

$200.00 Released October, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Auto Adjust setup feature is very helpful - corrects off-center picture orientation common to many different computers. Color reproduction is fantastic - high refresh rates provide brilliant contrast quality. Color Format menu offers a wide variety of preset picture options - YPbPr option provides full component (analog) decoding.

The Cons:Printed instruction manual is virtually useless - text is small and directions are vaguely described. Connectivity ports are awkwardly placed (bottom of unit) - wire slack is inconvenient and difficult to manage. DVI connectivity is prone to issues with compression artefacts - black levels are fairly inconsistent.

The Dell ST2220L is one of six LED-backlit LCD monitors released into the Studio Line (ST) in late 2010. Credited as an ‘aggressive attempt’ to expand their position in the consumer electronic market, Dell has designed all six specifically for a better viewing experience and enhanced digital consumption.
