Players make extensive use of the Wii's motion-sensor peripheral, opening doors and operating switches at the flick of a wrist. Closer than before to a Halo competitor, Conduit 2 adds vehicle functionality as well as an improved artificial intelligence engine that features enemies with unforeseeable weaponry. Set primarily in the fictional city of Atlantis, the game will lead players through real-world environments that include Washington DC, Agartha, Siberia, the Amazon, England and China. A multitude of never-before-seen weapons is featured, with arms including the "Aegis Device" for reciprocal fire and the "Phase Rifle" for through-wall attacks. In addition to single player campaign mode, gamers can opt for two-player split-screen co-op mode as well as full online multiplayer battle for up to 12 players.
