The Clevo X8100 presents users the choice between Core i7 CPUs with speeds ranging from 1.60 to 2.13 GHz. For high-end graphics, users can pick the Nvidia GeForce GTX 480M for gaming, or the Quadro FX3800 for professional media work. The ATI Radeon HD 5870 is also offered along with several other mid-range GeForce chipsets. System memory is configurable up to 8 GB, which should accommodate most gamers. Two USB 3.0 ports line the side of the notebook for connecting compatible peripherals. Besides an optional Blu-ray drive, three additional 2.5” SATA bays can be loaded with hard drives for storage purposes. The Clevo X8100 weights 5.6 kg, or about 12 lb. including the battery.
