Cleveland CG15
$120.00
Released February, 2010
The Pros:Reasonably low bounce to set the ball down right where you want it. Puts plenty of spin on the ball without effort. Easy on the ball, doesn't chip the ball as many wedges are prone to do.
The Cons:Not very forgiving of mis-hits, need to be careful.
The Cleveland CG15 is a top-rated, all-around wedge constructed with the precision accuracy of a laser. It features 4 perfectly calibrated texture lines milled between each grove to the conforming toughness limit.

This surface toughness optimizes ball-to-face friction and maximizes spin. Included also is a wider sole width near the heel and a narrow sole width near the toe, which in turn improves bunker performance without sacrificing versatility. Testers at golf.com claim the ball clings to the face while the club keeps moving, making the wedge suitable for players of all ability. They did lament, though, over the unit’s shorter distance. Plus the head is somewhat too heavy.
