Released January, 2010
The Pros:Wires at the back stay recessed, no extra unused wires hanging out. Navigation is built in, with no DVDs of maps required. User interface well designed for use while driving - everything easy to hit, difficult to hit the wrong thing.
The Cons:Daytime reflections make the display very difficult to view. No external microphone hard for people to hear me. Problem with the receiver fm stations go in and out.
The Clarion NX500 is a high end video and audio receiver and GPS. This is functionally similar to the Clarion NX700, but is lacking extra features like 3D rendering in the navigation system, BBE MP Processing for compressed audio, and an included Bluetooth microphone.

problem with the receiver fm stations go in and out.
high hissing sound from Sat radio that needs to be removed via EQ adjustment
EQ only has high or low settings, no midrange
if wiring isn't handled just right DVDs won't play, need to connect brake wire rather than wiring to ground
