Clarion CZ301

$179.99 Released January, 2011

Product Shot 1 The Pros:IPhone/iPod connectivity is reliable and easy to navigate - offers user-designated control from either the receiver or the device itself. Sound outputting is of pristine quality - reproduces audio without unwanted "coloration" as experienced amongst lower-end units. Installation is quick and easy - instruction manual is tailored to inexperienced users, providing step-by-step instructions with illustrations.

The Cons:Volume wheel is cheaply painted - thin black coating is prone to scratches and appears worn very quickly. Hard buttons are of fairly low quality - response is clunky and stiff, with occasional intermittence.

The Clarion CZ301 is a CD receiver with iPod compatibility. This follows the Clarion CZ201, adding a high-pass filter as well as the low-pass filter found in the previous model, and the unit is also HD Radio and Sirius Direct Connect ready.
