Product Shot 1The ChronArte Canna wall clock has a very unique way of telling time; it cascades through the clear, acrylic glass tubes as they fill continuously with a colored, specially conditioned liquid.

Standing at 121 cm (48") high and 72 cm (28") wide with an anodized aluminum base, it can either be wall-mounted or placed on a stand or table to provide an excellent centerpiece for your room.

Product Shot 2 It weighs 30 kg (66 lbs) when filled with water, and uses 6 Watts of energy at 230 VAC. It synchronizes its time with a DCF-77 radio signal and automatically adjust for daylight savings times. The Canna is made by Swiss designer ChronArte and runs 15,000 Swiss Francs (approx. USD12,000). Different liquid color choices are available to complement any decor.

Erik: #chronarte_canna Very intriguing concept. I love the physical representation of time. It's along the lines of an hourglass or a sundial. A throwback to the good ole days when we didn't have the benefits of electronics (even though this has sophisticated circuity powering it). Feb 11, 07
