The Pros:Movement of the door itself is much louder than this unit, runs very quiet. Doesn't shake the garage like some other units tend to. Fits into a reasonable space along the ceiling, not too bulky.

The system isn’t as strong and weather-resistant as some of its screw & chain counterparts in the Series, but it does host a solid-steel T-Rail with an automatic belt tensioner, as well as an enhanced belt driver system—both which ensure durability. Like all its peers, the LiftMaster Premium Series 3280 also comes stocked with a myriad of features, including a Smart system for programming security codes from the control panel, safety sensors that reverse the door if anyone or anything interrupts the beam, and an anti-theft system that keeps the unit locked when closed.
