The Canon PowerShot A1200 is a compact point-and-shoot digital camera. This is the same as the Canon PowerShot A2200, but has a slightly less sensitive 12.1 megapixel sensor and includes an optical viewfinder.

Otherwise they are the same, with a 2.7 inch LCD display and 4x optical zoom. Video can be recorded in up to 720p high definition quality, and the settings can be automatically selected with the "Smart AUTO" system. A discreet mode is also available, which disables all noise from the camera, turns off the flash, and turns off the auto-focus beam in order to take pictures in quiet areas.
