The Canon imageFORMULA P-150M is a compact scanner built to be compatible with Macintosh computers. This is the same hardware as the original Canon imageFORMULA P-150, and features mainly variations in the software drivers that come with it.

Software internal to the scanner allows it to connect to a Mac and scan immediately, without the need of external drivers. A TWAIN driver is included for times where external software requires it for compatibility, and users can scan directly to iPhoto or an Evernote application. The automatic document feeder can hold up to 20 pages at a time, and up to 15 pages per minute can be scanned in full duplex mode.
