Internally the speaker is flanked with horizontal and vertical bracings which seal off the bass chamber from the tweeter for added sound performance, while the outer is done in a scratch resistant high contrast black gloss finish with contrasting leatherette accents which will blend in with any modern surrounding. These may be used as a pair for stereo listening or in combination with other speakers and a center channel and subwoofer in a home theater setup. The only difference between the A 25 and the A 23 and A 26 is the size of the woofers and subsequently the speaker enclosure itself. Each retain the same Boston Acoustics patented 1" Kortec soft dome tweeter and basic features like magnetic grille covers and 5-way binding posts capable of accepting bare wire, pins, spade connections and both single and dual banana plugs. A lower frequency response is also expected the higher you go in the series as the woofer sizes increase.
