Boss BV9996B
$529.00
Released December, 2009
The Pros:Put together fairly sturdy, feels substantial and has parts that seem secure. Bluetooth pairing is quick and easy. Bluetooth calls on both ends sound clear with no background noise.
The Cons:Only one output for a subwoofer amp. Microphone has to be positioned just right or you sound like you're talking through a tin can. Display looks very washed out in sunlight.
The Boss BV9996B is a high end car audio and video receiver. This is identical to the Boss BV9992, but with the addition of Bluetooth support and hands-free calling. The Boss BV9997BI has all of the same functions as this unit, but lacks the more elaborate front panel multi-display that reacts to what is being played.
