The BV8962 is an in-dash DVD, CD, and MP3 receiver from Boss Audio.  The receiver is designed with a large 7" touchscreen monitor that is motorized, sliding out of a single DIN mount.  The monitor has a resolution of 1440 x 234 pixels and 600 nits brightness and the front panel is fully detachable for security.

  The receiver has built-in USB and SD card slots as well as an AUX input on the front panel, allowing direct playback from an MP3 player.  The BV8962 offers playback of WMA, MP4, MP3, DVD, SVCD, VCD, CDR, CDRW, and SDVD formats and is also NTSC/PAL compatible.  It has an integrated AM/FM tuner with 30 station presets and includes RDS tagging.  The receiver also has a rear view camera input and dual RCA outputs for adding an external amplifier.  The BV8962 provides a total output power of 80 watts through four channels and comes with a wireless remote control.
