Blue Moon

Blue Moon is a popular Belgian style witbier brewed by Coors Brewing company in Golden, Colorado. The beer is orange-amber in color with a cloudy appearance because it is unfiltered. Since it has an orange flavor it's commonly served with an orange slice and has a slightly sweet taste.

 In Canada it's marketed as Rickard's White and is a popular drink to consume in the summer. In the United States Coors light does not actively market itself as the producer of Blue Moon rather it keeps it as a stand alone brand. Blue Moon is available in cans, bottles and kegs. The brew has 171 calories per 12 US fl oz (355 mL) serving (2,020 kJ/L) and 5.4% alcohol by volume.
