Blue Dragon by Mike Godfrey Tattoo Art Canvas Print

$65.00 Released January, 2012

Mike Godfrey has been tattooing since 1993, when he apprenticed with JR Grove. Godfrey has spent quite a bit of time traveling worldwide as a guest tattoo artist. In 2005 he opened his own shop, Authentic Art Tattoo Gallery in southern Oregon, where he tattoos by appointment only.

Is the dragon depicted here a water dragon? You decide. He sure emanates a sense of calm! In the Chinese Zodiac, there are 12 signs and therefore a 12-year cycle of characteristics connected to them. The characteristics of the Dragon Sign are also tempered by one of the five Chinese Elements of Metal, Water, Wood, Fire, and Earth. The Chinese Elements have their own 5-year cycle of characteristics. The dragon in this art print also has with him a crystal energy ball.
