BenQ Joybook R58

The Joybook R58 is a lower-end, 15.4" notebook computer from BenQ. It is powered by a 2.26GHz or 2.40GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor. With 1 GB of RAM and integrated graphics, the R58 is intended more for basic computing tasks than for gaming or other demanding applications.

BenQ claims the design of the R58's keyboard, featuring greater-than-average key spacing, helps reduce errors and increase typing speed. The R58 lacks the FireWire and HDMI connectivity of other R-series models, but has three USB ports. It also features a 1.3MP webcam and noise-cancelling microphone for VoIP applications. Bluetooth is available as an option, while Wi-Fi is standard. Battery life is estimated at 4.5 hours in power-saving mode.
