The Asus VE278Q is a lightweight and stylish 7” LED backlit LCD monitor that builds from smaller predecessors (e.g., the 23.6” VE247H and 24” ML248H) by incorporating a DisplayPort, while maintaining standard VGA, DVI, and HDMI connections.

Unlike its peers, it doesn’t suffer from ghosting, backlight bleeding, or dead pixels. Meanwhile it offers a full 1080p HD resolution with a high dynamic contrast ratio and advanced color adjustments via integrated calibration controls. There is no gamma adjustment option, but there are custom color temperature settings with an R/G/B adjustment menu. Like its peers, the VE278Q monitor is wall mountable, tiltable, and Kensington-Lock compatible.
