The U6V model is completely adorned with a bamboo style finish designed to mimic all the different sensations of real bamboo wood including scent and texture.
The Asus U6V includes more prominent features such as the built-in Bluetooth 2.0 support, an integrated web-cam and an LED backlit 12.1" LCD TFT display. The Asus U6V laptop is powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo (2.53GHz) which is complimented by the Mobile Intel PM45 Express Chipset to provide what Asus claims to be a "fast and reliable machine". The U6V model also includes support for up to 4GB DDR2 800MHz SDRAM, an integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9300 M GS graphics adapter with 256MB on-board memory, up to 320GB 2.5" SATA hard drive support (5400RPM), an 8-in-1 card reader, an eSATA port for external media, and an HDMI output for compatibility with any standard HDTV.
