Asus U43F

The Asus U43F is one of two bamboo-accented laptops (U43F, U43JC) released in summer 2010. They both feature an exterior composed of brushed aluminum and dark bamboo wood. Also included on both is a 14” LED-backlit HD widescreen display, an Intel Core i5-450M processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 640GB HDD.

The difference is that the Asus U43F hosts an Nvidia GeForce 310M graphics module with Optimus intelligent graphics switching technology. So essentially the U43F is geared more toward serious gamers and multimedia enthusiasts. Other common components include a webcam, a multi-card reader, built-in WiFi, and facial recognition technology.
