The Asus F9S laptop includes a 12" WXGA LCD display with a maximum supported resolution of 1280*800. The F9S laptop is fully powered by Intel Core 2 Duo and Intel Core Duo processor combined with the Intel PM965 Express chipset.
The Asus F9S also includes additional hardware such as the integrated 1.3 megapixel 240 degree swivel web-cam that is also available in all F9 series models. Additional hardware options include an integrated NVIDIA GEforce 8400M G graphics adapter, TPM (Trusted Platform Module) security support and a 2 year limited manufacturer's warranty. The Asus F9S is bundled with the aforementioned TPM security support; which is basically an individual chip-set that handles platform security. Important user passwords data, and options are stored via the TPM chipset and are thus fully encrypted in order to keep hackers and viruses out.
