The P43 Pro/USB3 is an entry level ATX motherboard from ASRock. As an Intel-based product, this board features support for a variety of Core 2 processors. DDR3 memory support is standard, and video expansion is enabled by a single PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot.

The ASRock P43 Pro/USB3 is based on the LGA 775 socket, meaning a wide range of Core 2, Pentium and Celeron dual-core processors are compatible. The capacitors used on the P43 Pro/USB3 are 100% Japanese made, and have a 2.5x longer lifetime according to ASRock. Audio is provided by Realtek with 7.1 channel surround sound with Blu-ray audio support. The manufacturer includes several proprietary tools for overclocking and system tweaking. With these, users can instantly boot their machine and overclock their CPU with desktop-based tools. A package of trialware is also included on a CD.
