ASRock H55M/USB3 R2.0

$120.00 Released June, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Integrated graphics support 1080p video playback - no need to purchase an additional graphics card for multimedia use. Great for a HTPC build - includes the essentials such as HDMI output, S/PDIF audio out and onboard video decoding. Lots of options in the BIOS - great for overclockers and performance tweakers.

The Cons:Only integrates a single USB 3.0 port - most boards include at least two. Limited selection of cables are included in the box - lacks eSATA and USB 3.0 cables. Limited support for legacy connections - lacks floppy disk and FireWire headers.

The ASRock H55M/USB3 R2.0 is a mid-range microATX Intel H55 chipset motherboard similar to the ASRock H55M. Obviously offering USB3.0 support over the H55M, the H55M/USB3 R2.0 does, however lack some features compared to the H55M, namely 1 less eSATA port and 1 less PCIe 2.0 x16 expansion slot.
