ArcaniA: Gothic 4

$50.00 Released October, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Good range of difficulties, good for new and advanced players. Satisfying combat action, lets you use your skill to win rather than just button mashing. Plenty of weapons and items to discover and keep your interest.

The Cons:Graphics are passable, but not impressive. Lots of pointless side quests that aren't interesting. Not entirely free-roam, controls where you go at certain times.

Players use both physical weapons and magic spells to conquer foes, with radial menu and toggle functions enabling continuous action-packed gameplay. Numerous "skill trees" are available that enable gamers to customize the capabilities of their character, attainable by spending "skill points" that are earned through battle. By picking up raw materials and loose ingredients, players are able to concoct their own potions and elixirs that provide a host of health and ability upgrades. Quests are dependent on the path a given user has taken, leading up to dark dungeon exploration and epic monster battles with great sums of loot available for those who remain alive.
